CLEAN-FLO
This large reservoir had a serious blue-green algae problem producing bad taste and odor in the drinking water. Taste and odor is gone after inversion and oxygenation of the reservoir by CLEAN-FLO. Lake top half is treated with CLEAN-FLO and bottom half is not treated with CLEAN-FLO. This small lake demonstrates the effectiveness of CLEAN-FLO products and services in the remediation and management of water. In this example diffusers and inversion / oxygenation have been employed at a great savings and with total effectiveness. This river was restored from Class 3-4 where Class 4 is “unusable for any purpose” to Class 1-2 where Class 1 is “usable for any purpose.” This hog manure lagoon demonstrates the effectiveness of CLEAN-FLO’s unique aeration in treating wastewater treatment lagoons. Odor could not be detected when standing on the edge of the lagoon. This lake had two feet of organic muck at the shoreline before CLEAN-FLO treatment. This is a pond using the CLEAN-FLO pond aeration system. Inversion and oxygenation of a bay of the ocean. This bay of the ocean was highly polluted by industrial and residential waste before CLEAN-FLO treatment. Inverting and oxygenating bays of the ocean and rivers flowing into the bays can prevent red tide from destroying important fisheries. Improve water quality, remove odors, improve fish growth, and health and prevent fish kills. This a pond that does not use the CLEAN-FLO pond aeration system.

Aquatic Weed Control in Lakes and Ponds

Natural and Organic Aquatic Weed Control and Controlling Duckweed

The most important step in aquatic weed control in lakes and backyard fish ponds is to fully oxygenate the bottom through CLEAN-FLO's unique pond pump and lake aerator. Install a CLEAN-FLO pond water feature and lake aerator to precipitate up to three times as much phosphorus and nitrogen as watershed management can accomplish. This results in up to 97 percent or more phosphorus and nitrogen removal. The phosphorus and nitrogen then become food for insects and fish, resulting in improved lake fishing and pond fishing. Because the phosphorus and nitrogen go into food for fish, the aeration system produces lake and pond restoration.

Once you attain full oxygenation of the bottom of your lake or pond with a lake aeration system, the following natural water treatment chemicals and lake management products will give you optimum lake weed control and pond weed control.

C-FLO-6F C-FLO-6F for duckweed control by feeding on non-living organic matter and is particularly effective in reducing nutrients that are food for aquatic weeds.

Lake Cleanser Special was developed by CLEAN-FLO for duckweed control and has been found to be particularly effective in limiting phosphorus that is food for duckweed. DUCKWEED (looks like tiny three-leaf clover on the surface).

Lake Care was developed for submerged aquatic weed control with the purpose of neutralizing the electrostatic charges in water and has been found particularly effective in neutralizing those charges that are utilized by submerged aquatic weeds.

Clean & ClearTM CONCENTRATED ENZYMES is a special blend of non-toxic enzymes from nature that acts as a catalyst to biodegrade non-living organic matter and reduce available nutrients in the water, thus improving water quality for aquatic weed control and, duckweed and watermeal control.

Lake Cleanser III  was developed to remove or lock up phosphates and suspended particles from all types of water bodies for submergent weeds, duckweed and watermeal control.

Iron Filings Bind phosphorus in lakes and ponds with a short retention time for aquatic weed control, duckweed and watermeal control.

Information on Natural Duckweed Control

BEFORE: Submerged lake weeds were so thick that one could not row a boat through them.

AFTER: No lake weeds one year after CLEAN-FLO installed Continuous Laminar Flow Inversion and Oxygenation Aeration System.
