CLEAN-FLO
This large reservoir had a serious blue-green algae problem producing bad taste and odor in the drinking water. Taste and odor is gone after inversion and oxygenation of the reservoir by CLEAN-FLO. Lake top half is treated with CLEAN-FLO and bottom half is not treated with CLEAN-FLO. This small lake demonstrates the effectiveness of CLEAN-FLO products and services in the remediation and management of water. In this example diffusers and inversion / oxygenation have been employed at a great savings and with total effectiveness. This river was restored from Class 3-4 where Class 4 is “unusable for any purpose” to Class 1-2 where Class 1 is “usable for any purpose.” This hog manure lagoon demonstrates the effectiveness of CLEAN-FLO’s unique aeration in treating wastewater treatment lagoons. Odor could not be detected when standing on the edge of the lagoon. This lake had two feet of organic muck at the shoreline before CLEAN-FLO treatment. This is a pond using the CLEAN-FLO pond aeration system. Inversion and oxygenation of a bay of the ocean. This bay of the ocean was highly polluted by industrial and residential waste before CLEAN-FLO treatment. Inverting and oxygenating bays of the ocean and rivers flowing into the bays can prevent red tide from destroying important fisheries. Improve water quality, remove odors, improve fish growth, and health and prevent fish kills. This a pond that does not use the CLEAN-FLO pond aeration system.

LochNess Pond Dye for Algae Control and Aquatic Plant Control

CLEAN-FLO LochNess Pond Dye gives pond algae control and aquatic plant control and hides submerged plants and trash from view by producing a beautiful dark Loch Ness Lake color while AQUASHADE gives water an unpleasant green algae appearance.

WHAT IS LOCHNESS POND DYE: LochNess Pond Dye is an organic dye.

WHAT IS LOCHNESS POND DYE USED FOR: LochNess Pond Dye is designed to enhance the natural beauty of your pond or lake. It can be used to hide submerged plants from view, and to speed up the removal of nutrients when used with the CLEAN-FLO Multiple Inversion system.

WHERE CAN LOCHNESS POND DYE BE USED: In any pond or lake that has sufficient retention of water so that the dye is not flushed out. LochNess Pond Dye is not recommended for fast flowing or quick turnover bodies of water. It is suitable for use in sewage lagoons and shallow or muddy lakes and ponds.

HOW IS LOCHNESS POND DYE APPLIED: LochNess Pond Dye can be applied simply by pouring it into your pond or lake. Actual color may vary with water clarity, chemical make-up, and depth. It is best to start with one-half the recommended dosage and gradually increase the amounts until you reach the desired color. If more color is desired, allow 24 hours for the dye to completely mix before adding more. In northern climates, LochNess POND DYE can be poured through a hole in the ice in the early spring or can be applied immediately after ice-out. When used with the CLEAN-FLO Inversion system, it can help sun light warm the water to help keep ice open.

APPLICATION RATE: LochNess Pond Dye is applied at the rate of one quart per four acre-feet of water. One quart will treat one surface acre four feet deep, and one ounce will treat 40,000 gallons of water.

ADVANTAGES

INCREASED DEPTH: In most ponds and lakes, LochNess Pond Dye will give the appearance that the pond or lake is much deeper than it actually is.

NATURAL BEAUTY: LochNess Pond Dye will not make your water extremely dark or inky in appearance. With proper amounts applied, you should be able to see 2 - 3 feet down into the water. The water will take on a very natural and beautiful tint.

SAFE: LochNess Pond Dye is harmless to fish and wildlife, pets, humans, and the environment, when used as directed.

COMPATIBLE: LochNess Pond Dye is compatible with chelated copper algaecides and most other chemicals used in the aquatic environment.

LIMITATIONS: LochNess Pond Dye cannot be effectively used in swimming pools or any other chlorinated systems.

NOTE: LochNess Pond Dye can be removed from the skin by the use of diluted chlorine bleach or soap and water.

CLEAN-FLO LochNess Pond Dye gives aquatic plant control and pond algae control and hides submerged plants and trash from view by reflecting a beautiful blue sky. In contrast, AQUASHADE gives water an unpleasant green algae appearance.
